Course «Fundamentals of Modern Art»
The graphics and painting course will help you get to know the language of modern art by involving you in the creative process. Practical classes and lectures will be devoted to traditional techniques, forms, materials, key directions of graphics and painting - impressionism, fauvism, expressionism, suprematism, cubism, surrealism, etc. The course also includes lectures and master classes on the theory of modern art conducted by leading Kyiv artists.
Group recruitment is ongoing.
Group up to 10 people.
Classes can be held in English.
It is possible to attend individual classes and master classes.

For students who already have basic techniques, we can offer an advanced course, where you can develop your skills in certain styles and techniques, guided by the advice of famous Kyiv artists.
The course program includes:

Techniques of modern visual art.

Basics of color and composition. Theoretical and practical classes using different materials: watercolor, acrylic, gouache, paper, cardboard.

Visual possibilities of color. Master class on graphics. Learning the monotype technique.

Artistic features of surfaces and textures of materials. Study of soil textures, mixed media, collage. Creating a non-figurative composition. Using such materials as cardboard, wood, oil, acrylic, sand, etc.

Basics of decorative composition. An object of art in the environment of a modern interior. Painting on fabric, fine art and spatial composition. Materials: fabric, acrylic, aniline paints, wood, leather.
